Girls Are Powerful Day inspires young girls to embrace their whole selves while building community in a series of sessions focused on celebrating their identities, nurturing self-love, and amplifying their powerful, unique voices.
Girls Are Powerful Day
This spring, GRP brings you Girls Are Powerful Day—an interactive, community-fostering virtual event dedicated to providing girls 8 – 17 the tools and techniques needed to nourish and maintain healthy self-esteem and fully embrace their inner power.
Empowering Girls to Spring into their Greatness
Our goal is to empower the next generation of women to embark on their journey of self-discovery by exploring unique activities developed in alignment with social-emotional learning. Our sessions will introduce girls to new destinations where they can embrace personal strengths and values, share and receive souvenirs within their community, learn to understand and manage emotions and prepare for any adventure.
Join us for a half-day virtual session with fun interactive activities and growth-provoking material. This year’s theme, Passport to Power, is designed to inspire participants to embrace and develop their natural, unique abilities so they can grow and thrive.
This program will ship (1) Activity Box which will include:

Sessions Overview
We seek to encourage girls to reflect on their growth during Girls Are Powerful Day, far beyond the day itself. We will introduce to them the language to fully express themselves and strengthen their unique voices while having the courage to ask for the support they need. We will encourage the exploration of their unique strengths and talents, while actively uplifting and learning from those around them. During our day, in alignment with the flower ecosystem we will focus our time on the following sessions:
Cultivate Your Soil
To help a flower grow as beautiful and strong as possible, it needs help from the world around it. In this session, the girls will think about what a flower needs to grow and then reflect on what they themselves need to spring into their greatness.
What is your Flower Power?
Every flower has its own power that makes it unique, powerful, and beautiful. In this session, each girl will discover her own Flower Power that makes her who she is and helps her to be the best version of herself.
Pollinating the World Around You
Making the world a more beautiful place is in the job description of all flowers. And doesn't the world need more flowers? In this session, you will take your Flower Power and think about how you will “pollinate” so other flowers can grow and make the world more beautiful too.
When the Storm Comes
Every flower gets caught in storms and it is difficult not to succumb to feelings of helplessness and frustration. In this session, the girls will utilize active body movements to confront and release the negativity that arises when they are faced with challenges.
Bloom Through All Seasons
A flower in bloom flourishes in abundance; through intentional self-care and self-expression, the girls will unlock the tools that allow them to bloom year round. In this session, the girls will discover their talents double as self-care which nurture the resilience and unconditional self-love that allow them to weather every storm.
Maintaining Your Garden
The girls will close out the day with reflection on how they will intentionally maintain their garden to consciously uplift themselves and others from this day forward.
After attending Spring into Your Greatness, girls will have a strong sense of confidence, an enhanced toolbox for self-expression, and a deeper connection to their community around them.
Registration Cost
Girls Are Powerful would like all interested girls to participate in this program. While the program value is $75 per youth, we do not want the cost to prevent any girl from taking part. Given the current financial circumstances of your household please see our registration cost as well as our scholarship information below.

FAMILY RATE
$45 per girl
(for 2 to 4 family members only)
GROUP RATE
$40 per girl
(for groups of 5+ youth)
