Magazine Project
In this group project, girls work with industry professionals to craft copy, plan layouts and design, and execute a photoshoot to create a magazine to lift girls up instead of putting them down.
The Power of a Girl
Developed to showcase what happens when girls embrace our six principles, the Magazine Project is one of our newest and most exciting programs. Just like the professionals—and with a few of them, too—participants write and edit copy, assist in the layout and design, and participate on both sides of the lens in a photoshoot.
The result is a glossy publication fit for the checkout aisle that will look wonderful on bookshelves or, perhaps not too far down the line, internship applications.
