Join us for a full day of events that include guest speakers, workshops, and activities designed to empower our girls through positive thoughts, words, and actions!

Continuing the momentum from our pop-up workshops this year, we will build on encouraging confidence, bravery, and self-expression. While highlighting the importance of community and girl power, each girl will also have an opportunity to participate in our community service care package project benefiting homeless youth. So please bring a pair of socks with you to donate in our care packages!

The Make a Bold Statement Program was designed to align with our Dig DEEP (Discover their Differences, Acknowledge their Essence, Build their Esteem and Embrace their Power) Model. This is the process that assists in learning life skills and how to deal with one’s self by creating self-awareness and self-management skills to achieve success in life.   This summit is an extension of our pop-up workshops which were hosted this year in St. Paul, Fridley, and Apple Valley.

Anticipated Outcomes of the Summit

Session 1: Girls will learn that becoming empowered starts from within and requires a positive mindset
Session 2: Girls will learn that being empowered takes on many different forms of self-expression
Session 3: Girls will learn that staying empowered is dependent upon their choices and actions
Session 4: Girls will learn the impact they can make by empowering others and their communities
Overall: Girls will learn more about the mission and goals of Girls Are Powerful and ways to stay connected
