On Sunday, December 21, 2014 – the Power Girls (the name is still pending) went to go see Annie, the movie. In our group session, the girls were asked to do a movie review and here are the results.

Genre: Musical Comedy
Overall rating: 4.8 out of 5 (Very Good / Great movie)
Summary of the Movie:
– It was about Annie and her foster friends in the beginning and how she went to live with Mr. Stacks for a few days.
– A little girl named Annie tries to find her parents but a man named Will Stacks who was running for mayor takes her in so he can be elected mayor.
– Annie is an orphan. She always waited for cannoli and the nanny was always mean to the girls and then the mayor saved her.
Did you like the movie?
– Yes, because it is inspiring and funny!
– I did because it was funny and the characters just broke out into song at any moment.
– Yes, because I went there with my friends and I knew all of the songs!
Favorite Character:
– The mayor because he was hilarious and funny.
– Will Stacks because I like the actor who played him.
– Annie because she is really funny and active just like me. Boom – Chicken Soup!

– Annie – Amazing, Talented and a Hard Worker. Power word: Confident
– Stacks – Funny and Caring. Power word: Determined

If this were your movie, would you change anything?
– I wouldn’t change anything because it was funny the way it was!
– Yes, I would change (re-cast) Annie and all the other people and replace them with me as Annie and my family would be the other people.
– No the movie was the best. Everything was perfect.
